Dr. Amit Chauhan is the Coordinator of Forensic Sciences in the Department of Life Sciences, School of Sciences, Christ University, Bangalore-Karnataka, India. He is a member of the Indian Police Foundation. He received his M.Sc. in forensic science from Amity University-INDIA, M.A. in criminology and Police administration, from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai Tamil Nadu INDIA, Post-Graduation diploma in forensic Science from Delhi University-Delhi, Postgraduation diploma in Advanced Forensic science research & Training, King’s College London, Ph.D. in forensic science in collaboration of Ministry of Science- Malaysia. He is a certified Doping Control Officer from World Anti-Doping Agency (Montreal- Canada), and National Anti-Doping Control Agency- Delhi, India, and was appointed as a Doping control officer in the commonwealth games 2010, INDIA. He has delivered lectures at several universities i.e. University of Toronto, Hirosaki University, Philadelphia police department, Ministry of science- Govt of Malaysia, Queen’s Mary University of London, etc. He has visited more than 18 countries i.e. Malaysia, London, France (Lyon), Amsterdam- Netherland, Norway, Sweden, Philadelphia (U.S.), Israel, Japan, Turkey, Dubai, Abu- Dhabi, Vienna- Austria, Prague- Czech Republic, Luxembourg- Europe, Thailand, Rome- Italy, Barcelona, Spain. He has organized 3 national conferences, several webinars/ International symposiums an international conference entitled “International conference on Pharmaceutics and Pharmacovigilance, Vancouver- Canada, while he has participated in more than 23 national/ International conferences. He has published 117 international publications and 8 book chapters in reputed journals i.e. Scopus, web of science, Thomson Reuters, EBSCO, etc. He has been involved in several international collaborations with Holy angel university-Philippines, Cape coast University-Ghana, Christ church university-canterbury, Methodist university, U.S.A, etc., and for seeking further.
